Many have global backgrounds, having lived in different countries as children or adults.
They feel and think deeply about issues such as climate change, species extinction, and cultural and social change.
They also often carry… complex, layered trauma—not just a single incident, but interwoven patterns rooted in cultural contexts, family systems, and early life adaptations.
What Brings People to This Work:
You might recognize yourself if you’re navigating:
• Intergenerational, developmental, cultural or complex trauma along with significant life transitions
• Unexpected or (seemingly) inappropriate anger, shame, grief, or sadness
• Disordered relationships with food, work, performance, perfectionism, or other behaviors/substances
• Recovery from sexual trauma, emotional, religious or cult abuse
• Relating and boundary challenges
You may have tried other approaches that helped you understand your patterns but didn’t create lasting change. You’re ready for deep work that actually shifts what’s held in your body and nervous system.
Who This Work Isn’t For:
I work with functional, self-reflective adults navigating complex trauma. I’m not the right fit for active crisis situations requiring immediate intervention, conditions requiring psychiatric medication management, or active psychosis. If you’re in crisis, please reach out to crisis support services. Once you’re stabilized, we can explore whether this work is right for you.
What my clients say about our work together…
“As a professional coach for the past 20-years myself, it’s imperative that another coach/healer holds space for me. Rosemary did so exceedingly well, giving me space to say whatever came up. My session was 100% about me, which is not always the case. When my emotions surfaced, which I totally didn’t expect, Rosemary drew them out, giving me a welcome release. I’m so grateful that practitioners like Rosemary have the training and expertise to deal effectively with trauma.”
– SK, Halifax, Canada
“Rosemary worked with me during a time when I was processing a lot and preparing for birth of my first child. She had so much grace and expertise in helping me gain so many insights that set me up to be in a much better head space and heart space for this radical journey of motherhood. Also in processing a lot of my past to be able to step more confidently into my future without the burden of some of those memories.” – NV, Perth, Australia
“When I first reached out to Rosemary, I was in a helpless and hopeless place. Just before I logged in for our session I was apprehensive and hesitant to open up. Her warmth and authenticity immediately put me at ease. Her compassion created a safe space where I could finally be vulnerable, something I rarely allow. Her thoughtful self-disclosure helped me feel understood and brought me clarity. I’ve since recommended her to others, especially appreciating her sliding scale, which makes her care accessible. Rosemary’s presence is truly transformative.” – MB, Columbo, Sri Lanka
“I’ve worked with many therapists over the years and have never felt the level of support I do with Rosemary. Unlike those who are trained to be stoic and serious with their clients, having a session with Rosemary is like a breath of fresh air. As I continue my studies in the therapeutic world, while working through my own challenges and past traumas, it has been challenging to find a therapist who is a great match for my specific needs. So finding Rosemary has felt like an amazing gift at this moment of my life. One of the most compassionate, kindest, gentle therapists I’ve ever met and worked with, she has a way of being that’s healing. I always feel seen, understood, and uplifted after our sessions together. She holds a gentle space with a welcoming warm smile and a soft presence, inviting whatever needs exploring with grace and curiosity. Her warmth and gentleness help generate a genuine sense of safety in her presence, something that’s much needed in our world today.” – CV, Antwerp, Belgium
“I just had a beautiful, human, highly effective session with Rosemary. When I first read all the comments written by those she had helped I was on the, “that’s amazing!” Side of the fence. Today I’m on the “OMG yes” side of the fence. Thank you for your amazing support.”
– VY, Buenos Aires, Argentina
“Rosemary is the first person who so clearly got who I am. Her unique warmth and directness is combined with an uncanny ability to see and convey the uniqueness in a person. Since working with her, I have become incredibly clear about my passion and purpose. It is with great enthusiasm and certainty that I recommend her to anyone wanting to grow themselves, their business and/or brand.”
~ ASH, Sudbury, Canada
“Rosemary is the first therapist that I have worked with that didn’t leave me feeling more triggered, and hopeless. Her approach is helpful, incredibly understanding and empathetic without being prescriptive and boxing. She is authentic and insightful and guides and holds in a very unique way. I really enjoy my sessions with her and get invaluable experiences from them.” – RS, Harare Zimbabwe
